Livin La Pura VIda (Book Review: Pura Vida, Sara Alva)

"Pura Vida" is just a sweet short story, no more no less. Sara Alva wrote this for the M/M Romance Group event on Goodreads, and she has a great flare for romance. I was instantly hooked by the love story between Simon and Juan, and the added tropical feel of the setting enhanced it. Set in Costa Rico, Simon vacations with his family and meets a local souvenir seller, but there's more to Juan than tchotkes as they bonded over saving sea turtles. The sex scenes were kind of unrealistic (why put them there at all) but the romance is on fire here.
